Our wax is a blend of waxes, and they are 100% nontoxic and biodegradable. The wax is specifically formulated for use in the home and must meet food grade standards. It is the same wax that is used in everyday items like deli wraps, wax paper, cheese wax, lip balm, lipstick, cosmetics and in the medical industry.

Food grade wax is a fully refined paraffin wax that meets FDA requirements set forth in 21 CFR 178.3710 (for use in contact with food).

It comes from a non-GMO source.

It is California's Proposition 65 compliant (Also called the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act).

It is manufactured at a factory that meets ISO 14001 standards.

There are no detectable levels of benzene or toluene in our food grade wax.

Our fragrance companies must meet a very high standard and all of our fragrances are made in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).

The IFRA is a regulatory body that determines what materials are acceptable or safe to use in fragrance. It is always possible for someone to have a sensitivity to a particular fragrance. For those individuals we recommend discontinuing use of any product that causes an adverse reaction.
